Earthquake Measuring 5.9 Strikes Parts of Pakistan

Islamabad: An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale struck Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in Pakistan. The tremors were felt in various regions, causing concern among the residents who experienced the sudden seismic activity.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Pakistan reported that the epicentre of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan at a depth of 111 kilometres. Despite the significant magnitude, there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage in the affected areas. Authorities continue to monitor the situation for any developments.
