Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) in cooperation with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), participated in Tree Week activities by planting trees.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This effort is part of the Kingdom's broader vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological preservation.
