Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, deputised Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, to attend a reception hosted by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Bahrain, marking the UAE's 53rd Union Day. Upon his arrival, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah was welcomed by Fahad Mohammed bin Kardous Alameri, the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain. He conveyed the congratulations of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the UAE leadership and its people. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the strong and enduring relationship between Bahrain and the UAE, emphasizing the shared values and brotherhood that have been fortified under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He remarked on the significance of this year's Union Day, reflecting the level of integration and solidarity achieved between the two nations. S haikh Khalid bin Abdullah praised the recent visit of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, during the Bahrain-UAE Joint Higher Committee meeting, noting the positive outcomes which reaffirmed the two nations' commitment to expanding their partnership. He welcomed the National Content Programme, aimed at promoting industrial integration and sustainable development. The Deputy Prime Minister commended the UAE's achievements in various fields and expressed his wishes for the nation's continued prosperity and success. He also expressed hope for sustained security and stability for both nations under their respective leaderships. The UAE Ambassador expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their support in strengthening bilateral relations.
