Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebatim, during his visit to attend the seventh meeting of the Economic Committee.
Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Esen Çakil were present.
The meeting discussed issues of common interest and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
The deputy prime minister affirmed the keenness to build Bahraini-Turkish relations and expand cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic, industrial and tourism sectors.
The Turkish minister conveyed the greetings of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Nebatim stressed his country’s keenness to advance relations and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
