Deputy Prime Minister receives Kazakh counterpart

Manama: Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed the significance of boosting cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was speaking during a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace today with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tileuberdi.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Abdellatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication Mohammed bin Thamer Al Ka’abi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, and the accompanying delegation of the Kazakh Deputy Premier.

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa welcomed his Kazakh counterpart, stressing Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Both sides discussed ways of further cementing ties between the two friendly countries in various fields. They also reviewed regional and international developments and issues of common concern.

The Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed thanks and appreciation for the gracious welcome and hospitality, affirming his country’s keenness on fostering bilateral cooperation.

The Deputy Prime Minister held a lunch banquet in honor of his Kazakh counterpart and his accompanying delegation.
