Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, has issued Edict (32) of 2025, which mandates the transfer of communication directors from all government entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to the National Communication Centre (NCC). This decision follows a proposal submitted by the NCC Chief Executive.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the individuals transferred to the NCC to assume the role of Director of Communication under the Deputy Chief Executive for Shared Communication Services are as follows: Nada Alawi Hassan Al Alawi from the National Bureau for Revenue, Maryam Ali Hamad Al Manasir from the Ministry of Health, Hussain Ali Abdulrasool Mohammed from the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, Haitham Mohammed Sami Kamal from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Aref Ali Ahmed Al Sammak from the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Lama Yousif Ahmed Khalifa from the University of Bahrain.
The NCC Chief Executive is responsible for assigning these individuals to oversee communication management at various government entities across the Kingdom. These employees will be governed by the regulations applicable to the shared communication services workforce.
Ministers and relevant authorities are tasked with implementing the provisions of this edict, which is effective immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
