Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, met with Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman. The meeting was attended by Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasised the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge to enhance governance, improve government performance, and develop practices that support administrative and institutional cooperation for the benefit of both countries. He highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, grounded in a shared history, mutual respect, strong social connections, and commitment to advancing cooperation in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted the advanced and strong bilateral relations between the two countries, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of Oman. He underscored the shared commitment to bolstering Gulf cooperation and promoting regional security, stability, and development.
On his part, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy commended the unwavering commitment of both leaderships to advancing bilateral cooperation and expressed his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
