Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, chaired the 295th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects. The Committee highlighted the address by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the final ten days of Ramadhan, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to wisdom, moderation, and balanced regional and international obligations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Committee expressed gratitude towards His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his directive to address the damage to citizens' homes following recent Iranian attacks, and for ensuring top-notch medical services for the injured. Measures by relevant authorities to assess and implement necessary actions to restore stability for affected families were reviewed.

Additionally, the Committee acknowledged the cooperation between the Legislative and Executive Authorities, particularly the Shura Council's approval of a draft law concerning the Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah Highway Development Project with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
Efforts by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, along with the Ministry of Works, were commended for their effective management of recent rainwater drainage. The meeting reviewed studies on enhancing civil protection in buildings and thermal insulation requirements, along with updates on legislation relevant to the Committee's work.
