Deputy Prime Minister Chairs Cabinet Meeting to Strengthen Bilateral Ties and Review National Achievements

Manama: His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, led the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. The Cabinet underscored the importance of the recent discussions between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities. The discussions' outcomes, as reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, included several agreements and memoranda of understanding.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet praised the success of the Social Housing Innovation Summit and Exhibition. The event, inaugurated by Shaikh Khalid on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, highlighted new housing financing options and private sector engagement. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank received commendation for organizing the initiative to increase awareness of financing programs.

The Cabinet expressed appreciation for the national press's role in promoting credibility and integrity and acknowledged the dedication of the national workforce ahead of Labour Day. The Cabinet approved various memorandums, including those related to the Global Media Dialogue, infrastructure development in the Hafeera Industrial Zone, student discipline regulations, and labour market indicators for the first quarter of 2025. These indicators showed progress in employment and training targets, aligning with Bahrain's National Labour Market Plan.

Additionally, the Cabinet reviewed a memorandum on achievements in public health sectors and noted ministerial reports on Bahrain's participation in international meetings and upcoming official visits. The meeting reflected ongoing efforts to foster national development and international collaboration.
