Deputy Interior Minister of Bahrain Engages with Moroccan Security Director General

Marrakech: Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior, engaged in discussions with Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security in the Kingdom of Morocco. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 93rd session of the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) General Assembly, which was held in Marrakech.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Fadhel highlighted the enduring relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Morocco, particularly in the areas of security and policing. He noted the ongoing development of these ties, reflecting both nations' dedication to enhancing cooperation grounded in mutual interests.

Abdellatif Hammouchi, the Moroccan Director General of National Security, expressed his appreciation for the strong relationship between the two kingdoms. He underscored the mutual commitment to furthering cooperation to bolster the security and stability of both countries.

The discussions focused on cooperation and joint coordination, with an emphasis on exploring opportunities to enhance security capabilities. This includes specialized training programs and the exchange of expertise, aimed at improving efficiency and strengthening joint security and policing efforts.
