Manama: Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, led the Ministry of Interior's delegation at the 48th Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference, held in Tunisia. The conference served as a platform to review the outcomes of implementing the recommendations from the previous year's 47th conference. Discussions included the recommendations from meetings of security sector heads and committees held under the Arab Interior Ministers Council throughout the year. Participants also engaged with various agenda items, with a particular focus on financial cybercrime. According to Bahrain News Agency, the conference included a presentation of a report on the activities of the Arab Police Sports Federation. Additionally, the event highlighted the distinguished security experiences of the participating countries, providing a valuable exchange of insights and practices among the leaders in attendance.
