Manama: Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, conducted a field tour of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) to inspect the security preparations and arrangements for the success of the Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1. The Deputy Chief of Public Security reviewed the security plans to ensure readiness and effectiveness in maintaining security and order. He highlighted the directives of the Minister of Interior and the follow-up of the Chief of Public Security to implement all precautionary measures and procedures to ensure the required protection and to provide the best security services to support the success of this global event.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed emphasised that the primary and emergency plans were studied, trained for, and tested through a number of security scenarios carried out by the participating security authorities, reflecting the readiness and capability of the forces to implement all plans with professionalism and efficiency.
