Manama: The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) has expanded its international outreach through the launch of the DANAT-Bicester Collection Lounge at Jewellery Arabia 2025. This initiative is part of an ongoing collaboration with The Bicester Collection, a global group of luxury retail destinations across Europe, the United States, and Asia, aimed at increasing the visibility and availability of DANAT-certified natural pearls in major international markets.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the collaboration, established in June 2025, focuses on presenting Bahrain’s natural pearls within leading luxury retail environments and strengthening global awareness of DANAT’s role as an international authority in natural pearl certification. The lounge at Jewellery Arabia highlighted the progress of this partnership and introduced visitors to upcoming international activities.
The Bicester Collection Lounge hosted guests for a curated reception and networking programme that showcased Bahrain’s pearling heritage. The programme included personalised colour analysis sessions conducted by Chantal Abboud and Jamal Sinno, as well as previews of planned joint initiatives, including a 2026 exhibition of DANAT-certified natural pearls at selected Bicester Collection destinations in Europe.
The partnership continues to promote high-end jewellery featuring DANAT-certified natural pearls and expand global appreciation of Bahrain’s natural heritage. Through joint events in Europe, the US, and Asia, DANAT and The Bicester Collection aim to broaden access to Bahrain’s natural pearls within luxury, fashion, tourism, and retail markets.
Mrs. Noora Jamsheer, CEO of DANAT, represented the Institute at the event, where she underscored the strategic importance of expanding Bahrain’s international footprint, stating that the partnership with The Bicester Collection has been instrumental in advancing DANAT’s mission to elevate the global standing of Bahrain’s natural pearls. Jewellery Arabia 2025 offered a valuable opportunity to demonstrate the progress of this collaboration and to showcase how DANAT-certified natural pearls are increasingly reaching new audiences across leading international destinations.
