Manama: Coinciding with the launch of Jewellery Arabia 2024, Customs Affairs, represented by the Information Systems Directorate, introduced an updated version of the Exhibitions 2 app. Initially launched in 2021, the app is designed to streamline customs procedures for hosting exhibitions and marks a significant advancement in the customs services offered at Jewellery Arabia. The application automates the entire exhibitor journey, from initial registration to final customs clearance.
According to Bahrain News Agency, following the announcement of Exhibitions 2, Customs Affairs experienced high demand from exhibitors registering goods through the application. The app stands out for its user-friendly features, allowing exhibitors to record sales data by scanning the barcode of the sold item and adding buyer details. An electronic balance is then issued via the app, enhancing transparency and efficiency.
