Manama: The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) received the Digital Transformation in Human Resources Award from the Bahrain Society for Human Resources Management for its innovative "Government Employee" application. The app, recognised for streamlining processes and enhancing public sector employee engagement, was awarded under the public sector category. Ali Yousif Al Hammadi, Director General of Recruitment and Information at CSB, accepted the award on behalf of the bureau. According to Bahrain News Agency, this recognition highlights the CSB's efforts to modernise human resources management in Bahrain's public sector, encouraging innovation and excellence in aligning HR practices with global standards. The "Government Employee" app, developed in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority, simplifies key services for public employees. It provides access to salary certificates, administrative requests, payroll details, attendance records, and performance evaluations, offering a centralised platf orm that reduces paperwork and improves transparency. This initiative reflects Bahrain's commitment to leveraging technology to enhance public sector efficiency by adopting digital solutions. The Kingdom continues to position itself as a regional leader in eGovernment services, aligning with its vision for sustainable development and improved employee services.
