Manama: Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), attended the 21st meeting of GCC ministers and heads of civil service authorities, held in Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting aimed to discuss cooperation in developing human resources and advancing government performance. It reviewed progress on initiatives within the GCC civil service strategy, including workforce planning, enhancing the quality of public services, and future approaches to human capital investment.
The agenda also covered regional proposals such as joint training programs to strengthen national competencies, Bahrain's initiative on harmonizing human resources systems across member states, and preparations for the upcoming Civil Service Artificial Intelligence Forum to be jointly organized by Oman and Qatar.
The committee highlighted the importance of aligning civil service strategies with future priorities, particularly in building institutional capacity, strengthening collaboration, and driving innovation across government sectors in the GCC.
