CSB President Engages in Strategic Dialogue at Arab Public Administration Forum

Dubai: Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), participated in the Arab Public Administration Forum, held on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in the United Arab Emirates. The event was organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) in collaboration with the Government of the UAE.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the forum aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise to enhance the quality of public services. Shaikh Daij bin Salman emphasized that the forum serves as a strategic platform for high-level dialogue on the future of public administration. It provides a venue for exchanging views on key public sector development issues and the shared challenges facing government entities amid rapid global changes.

The forum reviewed leading practices and opportunities to improve government performance efficiency, particularly in light of advancements in artificial intelligence. Discussions addressed the implications of these technologies for public policy, governance systems, human capital development, and more effective and responsive government service delivery.

In addition, the forum focused on modernizing government work and developing public administration systems to enhance institutional efficiency. It explored more flexible and innovative government models through digital transformation and artificial intelligence to support decision-making and institutional governance. The forum also provided a venue for sharing best practices among government leaders, decision-makers, and experts.

On the sidelines of the forum, participants in the Future Government Leaders Programme were honored, including Eman Jawad Al Asfoor, Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Director of the International Relations Directorate at the ministry.
