Muscat: A delegation from the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) participated in the GCC Organisational Structures Forum held in Oman, as part of efforts to strengthen joint Gulf cooperation and exchange expertise in administrative development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation highlighted Bahrain's leading experience in administrative organisation, focusing on the legislative and regulatory framework for government structures, the principles applied in organisational processes, and presenting practical models of structures and Bahrain's experience in unifying them.
In the forum's discussion session, Amina Ahmed Al Qaoud, Director of Organisation and Management Engineering at the CSB, presented Bahrain's distinctive experience in restructuring government entities, emphasising the success of implementing the "Shared Services" project and unified structures, which contributed to enhancing government performance efficiency and rationalising expenditures.
The forum also reviewed similar experiences from the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait in developing organisational structures within the civil service, and discussed modern trends in restructuring.
The forum concluded with a set of recommendations related to frameworks, systems, and the design of organisational structures across participating Gulf countries.
