CSB and Beyon Solutions Ink Agreement for Government HR Digital Transformation

Manama: The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) and Beyon Solutions, a subsidiary of the Beyon Group, have entered into a strategic agreement to launch a comprehensive digital transformation program in human resources. This initiative marks the first of its kind in the region, aimed at enhancing government human resources capabilities and advancing the Kingdom of Bahrain's digital transformation efforts.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed by Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of CSB, and Nicholas Toon, CEO of Beyon Solutions, with Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), also in attendance. The collaboration involves adopting the Oracle Fusion Cloud system to create a more integrated and digitally advanced human resources environment, laying the groundwork for future government service enhancements.

The agreement leverages Oracle's cutting-edge cloud and Fusion solutions, combined with Beyon Solutions' local expertise in implementation, operations, and cloud services. Beyon Solutions will operate these solutions through its Hyper Cloud Services, a sovereign hyper-cloud platform powered by Oracle Alloy technology. This platform, managed within the Kingdom, ensures the provision of advanced cloud services that meet local needs.

Shaikh Daij bin Salman highlighted that developing the human resources system is crucial for improving government efficiency, keeping systems aligned with public sector demands, and fulfilling the government's commitment to enhancing performance and accelerating digital transformation under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He emphasized that adopting this pioneering project, as the first in the region based on Oracle Fusion's advanced technologies, represents a strategic move towards a more integrated and flexible human resources system.

Furthermore, Shaikh Salman bin Duaij pointed out that secure and sovereign technological infrastructure is essential for successful transformation. The partnership with Beyon Solutions combines global expertise with specialized local capabilities, advancing digital transformation and achieving strategic objectives effectively.

Al Qaed affirmed that this agreement exemplifies the ongoing coordination and integration among government entities in embracing the latest digital solutions and cloud technologies. It reflects a qualitative shift that supports comprehensive digital transformation efforts in Bahrain's government sector, enhancing readiness to leverage modern technologies while maintaining high standards of data security.

He also noted the importance of public-private partnerships in leveraging advanced expertise and digital solutions, which are essential for sustainable development and innovation in government functions. The Authority remains committed to supporting digital transformation initiatives and strengthening cooperation to advance government digital systems in alignment with future aspirations.

Nicholas Toon stated that the partnership with CSB is part of a strategically significant program within Bahrain's government transformation journey. He assured that Beyon Solutions would maintain a close partnership throughout the implementation and development phases to ensure continuous support for the Bureau.

This agreement serves as a foundational element for enhancing digital transformation in human resources at the CSB, providing advanced sovereign digital infrastructure. It sets a practical model for other government entities in Bahrain to benefit from advanced cloud technologies, ensuring security, flexibility, and data sovereignty, which are critical to maintaining the efficiency of vital government services.
