Crown Prince of Bahrain Meets stc Chairman to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today held a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Khaled bin Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Telecom Company (stc), at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting focused on enhancing the historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman emphasized the deep-rooted relationship between the two Kingdoms, which is continually reinforced under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Crown Prince highlighted the ongoing and shared commitment of both nations to foster cooperation across various sectors, under the auspices of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council.

HRH the Crown Prince stressed the significance of the communications and information technology sector in promoting economic growth and development. He reiterated Bahrain's dedication to leveraging modern technologies to boost the sector's competitiveness and to create an attractive environment for investment.

The meeting also underscored the robust partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the fields of communications and information technology. HRH Prince Salman acknowledged the mutual commitment to further strengthen these areas to achieve common goals.

HRH Prince Mohammed bin Khaled bin Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal expressed his appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince for his efforts in enhancing bilateral cooperation. He conveyed his best wishes for Bahrain's continued prosperity and progress.

The meeting was attended by HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials.
