Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, along with senior officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting took place in honor of Bahrain Police Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness highlighted the progress of the Kingdom's security system, emphasizing its readiness and effectiveness in supporting Bahrain's development goals under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince expressed his pride in the Ministry of Interior's personnel, particularly the Bahrain Police, for their commitment to safeguarding the Kingdom's security.
Prince Salman bin Hamad noted that the Kingdom's achievements are founded on national efforts supported by an integrated security system. He also honored the sacrifices of fallen servicemen, underscoring their role in inspiring future generations.
The Crown Prince conveyed his appreciation to all Ministry of Interior personnel led by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla. He acknowledged their contributions to enhancing community security and improving services for citizens and residents, aligning with Bahrain's aspirations. Prince Salman stressed the importance of adopting modern technologies and practices to bolster security and uphold justice.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla expressed gratitude for the Royal Trust, which has strengthened the Bahrain Police's role in maintaining security. He appreciated the Crown Prince's support and guidance for future Ministry projects aimed at enhancing security capabilities. The Minister affirmed that the Crown Prince's backing is crucial for the Ministry's development.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials.
