Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, received His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, the Envoy of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting marked an important diplomatic engagement between Bahrain and Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness received an invitation on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to attend the 45th GCC Summit, set to take place in Kuwait next week. This invitation underscores the collaborative spirit and strong bilateral relations between the two Gulf nations.
During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the enduring strength of Bahrain-Kuwait relations and acknowledged Kuwait’s significant role in promoting joint Gulf Cooperation Council efforts. His Royal Highness also conveye
d the Kingdom of Bahrain’s best wishes for the success of the upcoming 45th GCC Summit in fulfilling its goals.
In response, HE Al-Yahya expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’ commitment to enhancing joint GCC cooperation. He also extended his wishes for continued growth and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was also attended by several high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki.
