Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Meets Team Bahrain at Formula 1 Grand Prix in Malaysia

Sepang:Malaysia His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, held a meeting with members of Team Bahrain and distinguished guests at the 2026 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, hosted at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this 22nd edition of the event takes place in Malaysia with the endorsement of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

Prince Salman emphasized that Bahrain's accomplishments in motorsport showcase the skills of its national workforce, whose expertise and resilience have enabled the Kingdom to achieve success under various circumstances. He highlighted the determination of the Bahraini people to further advance the Kingdom's comprehensive development goals, guided by King Hamad.

The Crown Prince praised Team Bahrain's dedication and efforts in organizing the Grand Prix, expressing hope for their continued success. He also extended his gratitude to Formula 1, the F©d©ration Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the Bahrain International Circuit, the Petronas Sepang International Circuit, and all participating teams for their contributions to the event's success.

A luncheon was hosted by Prince Salman in honor of Team Bahrain members and distinguished guests attending the Grand Prix. Team Bahrain and the guests expressed their appreciation for the Crown Prince's support of the national workforce and reiterated their commitment to Bahrain's progress and prosperity.
