Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting with His Excellency Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting underscored the deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, characterized by decades of collaboration and strong interpersonal connections.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted Bahrain's dedication to further strengthening these bilateral ties in alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince emphasized the importance of cooperation between the legislative bodies of both nations and reiterated a mutual commitment to exchanging expertise and enhancing collaboration in parliamentary and legislative matters.
The discussions during the meeting included issues of shared interest, potential avenues for enhanced cooperation, and the latest regional and international developments. HE Sadiq expressed his gratitude for the Crown Prince's dedication to fostering closer relations.
The meeting was attended by HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with other senior officials. This engagement occurred on the sidelines of HE Sadiq's visit to Bahrain.
