Crown Prince and Prime Minister Leads Extraordinary Cabinet Meeting on Iranian Aggressions

Gudaibiya: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired an extraordinary Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, the Cabinet reiterated its condemnation of the hostile Iranian aggressions and emphasized the importance of adhering to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. This resolution condemns and demands an immediate end to all Iranian attacks on the Arabian Gulf states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, calling for an unconditional cessation of any threats to neighboring countries and affirming the right of the GCC states and Jordan to defend their territories.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet expressed appreciation to the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and other authorities for their readiness and efficiency in safeguarding the Kingdom. The Cabinet also praised the national workforce within Team Bahrain for their dedicated efforts in addressing challenges with professionalism.

The Cabinet voiced pride in the national unity demonstrated by citizens and residents under the leadership of His Majesty the King. It also commended the outcomes of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, emphasizing the visit's role in enhancing Bahrain-Jordan relations. Additionally, the meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt was highlighted for its significance in strengthening Bahrain-Egypt ties.

The Cabinet expressed appreciation to GCC states and allies for their cooperation and solidarity, underscoring the importance of these relations in light of current developments. It commended their diplomatic engagement in supporting Bahrain against Iranian aggression, which violates international law.
