Crown Prince and Prime Minister Chairs Cabinet Meeting Addressing Iranian Attacks and Regional Security

Gudaibiya palace: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, led the weekly Cabinet meeting, where the focus was on regional security following hostile Iranian attacks. The meeting took place at the Gudaibiya Palace and addressed several critical issues impacting the Kingdom of Bahrain and its allies.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Cabinet reviewed the latest regional developments, emphasizing the Kingdom's robust national security system under the strategic vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Cabinet underlined that this system ensures the sovereignty and safety of Bahrain amidst threats. It commended the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) for intercepting and neutralizing ballistic missiles and drones, showcasing its combat readiness and advanced defense systems.

The Cabinet praised the swift response of the Ministry of Interior and Civil Defense to these threats and directed the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to maintain the availability of goods and conduct market inspections to ensure price stability. Medical staff readiness and media efforts in public awareness were also highlighted during the meeting.

The Cabinet expressed pride in the national workforce and emphasized the importance of adhering to laws for public safety. It condemned the Iranian missile attacks on Bahrain and other countries, reaffirming Bahrain's right to respond and coordinate with allies. The Cabinet stressed the importance of dialogue and mutual respect in maintaining regional stability.

Several memoranda were approved, including a draft law on building permit renewals and agreements with Jordan on maritime transport and anti-doping cooperation. The Cabinet also reviewed reports on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) sessions, government service advancements, and ministerial engagements.
