CPISP and CPISPAA Host Mentoring Event for Aspiring Scholars

Manama: The Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program (CPISP), in collaboration with the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program Alumni Association (CPISPAA), hosted a mentoring event at the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the event aimed to prepare CPISP candidates for significant milestones in their academic and professional journeys. Attendees received guidance on college application strategies, navigating their final year of school, and selecting appropriate majors and career paths.

The event drew over 100 professionals and students. It commenced with informative sessions on applying to international universities and the importance of having backup plans for universities and scholarships. This was followed by five interactive sessions that covered standardized test preparation, crafting compelling university application essays, and post-education life.

Participants had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings with mentors for tailored advice on their university and career aspirations. The event also featured a majors and careers fair, where more than 40 mentors provided insights into their respective fields, including computer science, medicine, engineering, business, and humanities.

The program concluded with a networking session, allowing candidates to discuss further topics with mentors in a more informal setting. Over the last seven years, CPISPAA has facilitated more than 1,000 one-on-one advisory meetings through its Mentoring Program, alongside other initiatives aimed at supporting Bahraini youth.

CPISPAA, established in 2019, connects alumni of the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program and engages them in professional, academic, and social activities, thereby contributing to the development of Bahrain's academic and professional landscape.
