Cairo, Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal attend the 4th conference of the Arab Interparliamentary Union (AIPU) which convened today at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo under the theme “Parliamentarians Role in Arab Security and Stability.
Addressing the session, Zainal said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, gives utmost priority to supporting pan-Arab joint work.
She underlined the Kingdom’s keenness on unified joint visions and strategies aimed to support pan-Arab solidarity to overcome challenges and create investment opportunities.
The speaker underscored the importance of activating parliamentary diplomacy to support development efforts, confront challenges and bolster pan-Arab joint work
A document themed “Parliamentary Vision for Arab Security and Stability” was endorsed during the AIPU conference.
