Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met today with Iraqi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs Dr. Saleh Hussein Al-Tamimi, on the sidelines of his participation in the “Missile Dialogue Initiative.”
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, stressing the importance of further developing joint cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the two countries and people.
Dr. Al-Tamimi stressed the depth of ties between the two brotherly countries, praising the vital role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance security and stability in the region, wishing it further progress and prosperity.
The two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation, and a number of topics and issues of common interest.
