Manama: Counsellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain, President of the Constitutional Court, received Muhsin Sentrk, Chief Public Prosecutor of Trkiye, and his accompanying delegation during their visit to Bahrain. The visit aims to further develop judicial cooperation between the two countries, exchange expertise, and gain insight into Bahrain's legislative and constitutional experience.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting featured an overview of the Constitutional Court, highlighting its establishment in 2002 as part of the comprehensive development initiative led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Discussions included the court's jurisdiction over constitutional disputes related to laws and regulations, its procedural framework, and the rulings and decisions it has issued.
The Turkish Attorney General commended the advanced judicial procedures and constitutional guarantees adopted by the Constitutional Court, noting their adherence to the highest international standards and practices.
