Conclusion of Bahrain’s Strongest Man Championship 2026 Celebrated

Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Bahrain's Strongest Man Championship 2026 concluded at Khalifa Sports City Hall. The event was graced by the presence of His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the General Sports Authority. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa awarded the winners in the heavyweight category. Emad Hussain Ali Al Qaffas claimed the top spot, followed by Sayed Murtadha Sayed Khalil in second place, and Yaqoob Ibrahim Al Atawi in third. Dr. Askar presented the awards in the middleweight category, where Isa Arif Rashdan emerged victorious, with Abdulrahman Tariq and Duaij Ali Mohammed securing second and third places, respectively. Ahm ed Al Shaikh, Chairman of the organising committee, recognized the winners of the lightweight category. Khalid Abdo Al Dhafri took first place, with Omar Sadiq Al Kooheji and Yousif Jamal Juma finishing in second and third positions. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized the championship's success in identifying and nurturing national talent, while also bolstering the prominence of strength sports within Bahrain. He praised the high level of competition and the athletes' ambition, attributing the winners' success to their commitment and perseverance. His Highness encouraged all participants to continue honing their skills and representing Bahrain in international contests. Furthermore, he highlighted the championship's role in providing a platform for Bahraini youth to demonstrate their prowess and cultivate their abilities. His Highness also acknowledged the contributions of the organising and working committees, along with volunteers, in ensuring the event's successful execution, sho wcasing Bahrain's capability in hosting specialized sports events.
