Northern Governor Ali bin Al Sheikh Abdulhussein Al Asfoor commended the compliance of community centres with the mandatory precautionary measures announced by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, based on the recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 during Ashoora season.
He visited a number of community centres in the Northern Governorate, accompanied Deputy Governor Brigadier Khalid Rabia Senan, Northern Police director-general Brigadier Isa Al-Qattan and other officials.
They assessed preparations undertaken by community centres for Ashoora season and ensured adherence to mandatory precautionary measures to protect people’s health and safety, stressing the importance of using video conference.
Heads of community centres, hailed cooperation and coordination with the Northern Governorate, Police Directorate and representatives of the Jafferi Endowments.
