Commander-in-Chief Welcomes GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Major General Salman Ebrahim Al Fudhala on the occasion of his appointment as Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief offered Major General Al Fudhala guidance and directives, expressing his hopes for the Major General's success in his new role. The appointment is seen as significant for enhancing military cooperation and coordination among the armed forces of GCC member states.

The Commander-in-Chief also took the opportunity to commend the efforts of the GCC General Secretariat, acknowledging its committed work in strengthening and developing cooperative bonds among the member states of the GCC.
