Commander-in-Chief Receives Officers Following Royal Promotions

Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Colonel Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Director of Joint Operations. The meeting was part of events following the issuance of a Royal Decree by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, which granted promotions to several officers.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief also welcomed Colonel Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Mechanised Infantry Battalion /1, and Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa from the Special Battalion /83. These meetings celebrated their new ranks as per the Royal Decree.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed expressed his congratulations to the officers for the royal trust placed in them and extended his wishes for their continued success in serving the Kingdom.
