Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the British Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Financial and Technical Affairs at the BDF General Command.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He noted the ongoing bilateral cooperation and development across sectors, with a particular focus on the exchange of expertise and military collaboration.
