Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), received Major General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Balawi, Commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief praised the Joint Peninsula Shield Forces for their role in enhancing the unity and shared destiny among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The meeting underscored the importance of cooperation among the GCC states to maintain security and stability in the region.
