Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), chaired a significant meeting of the Supreme Military Pension Council. The session was attended by prominent figures including His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, and General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior.
According to Bahrain News Agency, other attendees included Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, National Guard Staff Director, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Financial and Technical Affairs Advisor at the BDF General Command, and Major-General Bassam Mohammed Khamees Al Maraj, President of the National Intelligence Agency.
The council focused on reviewing the general policy for managing and developing the Military Pension Fund, ensuring alignment with administrative and technical regulations. Key discussions also centered on investment plans aimed at enhancing the management and growth of the fund's financial resources.
