Manama: The Coast Guard undertook a joint inspection campaign across several marine areas, collaborating with the Ports and Maritime Affairs, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The initiative was focused on ensuring adherence to maritime safety laws and regulations while increasing awareness among workers and sea-goers regarding the importance of following safety guidelines and instructions.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the campaign led to the identification of several violations, prompting legal actions against the offenders. The Coast Guard reiterated its dedication to continuing these campaigns in partnership with relevant authorities as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance maritime security and promote public safety.
