Manama: The Ministry of Works has announced the closure of two lanes in both directions on the Zallaq Highway near the Al Raffah area. This closure is due to the construction works of a new junction on the highway, and it will be in effect starting from Friday, July 11, for a duration of two months.
According to Bahrain News Agency, two alternative lanes will be provided for traffic movement in both directions between the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Junction and the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway (Zallaq Flyover). This measure aims to facilitate the ongoing construction while minimizing disruption to the traffic flow.
The Ministry has urged all road users to adhere to the traffic rules to ensure the safety of all individuals traveling through the area. The closure and the alternative routes are part of efforts to improve the infrastructure and ease traffic congestion in the long term.
