Chinese and Spanish Leaders Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Beijing: His Excellency President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, and His Excellency Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of Spain, met in Beijing, pledging to build stronger ties.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Spain. HE President Xi Jinping stated that China will collaborate with Spain to enhance the well-being of their citizens, contribute positively to China-EU relations, and support global peace, stability, and development.

HE Prime Minister Sanchez emphasized Spain's commitment to its relationship with China, expressing a willingness to maintain high-level exchanges and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation across multiple sectors to elevate bilateral relations.

HE President Xi Jinping also highlighted China's readiness to work with the EU to jointly celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, aiming to advance the China-EU relationship toward strategic stability and mutual success for the benefit of both peoples and the international community.
