China Unveils Strategic Plan for Electronic Information Manufacturing Growth

Beijing: China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation have jointly issued an action plan aimed at achieving stable growth in the electronic information manufacturing sector for the period 2025-2026.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the plan anticipates an average growth rate of 7% in the added value of manufacturing sectors such as computers, communications equipment, and other electronic devices over the two-year period. Additionally, the plan projects that the average annual revenue growth rate of the sector will surpass 5% when related industries, including lithium batteries, photovoltaic cells, and component manufacturing, are taken into account.

The strategic initiative emphasizes the importance of renewing equipment and the development of major projects to propel the sector towards greater advancement, intelligence, and environmental sustainability. Moreover, the action plan outlines the establishment of internationally leading bases for the electronic information industry, along with the development of specialized clusters for small enterprises.
