China Launches Gravity-1 Rocket From Sea

Haiyang: China successfully launched its Gravity-1 carrier rocket from waters off the coast of Haiyang in Shandong Province, east China. The rocket lifted off at 10:20 a.m. (Beijing time), placing three satellites into their designated orbits.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the offshore launch was conducted by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and carried a wide-field satellite along with two experimental satellites. The Gravity-1 carrier rocket previously made its maiden flight in January 2024.
