Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Royal Academy of Police, attended the graduation ceremony of 149 participants from various training courses organised by the Royal Academy of Police.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major General Fawaz Hassan Al Hassan, Commandant of the Royal Academy of Police, reviewed several forums, training courses, and curricula that have been newly introduced and developed. He also discussed specialised projects currently being implemented by the Academy as part of the ongoing development of the training system. These initiatives aim to enhance the efficiency of the training process and strengthen personnel readiness. Most notably, this included a project to reorganise the training process through the introduction of three main training tracks: Qualification courses, refresher courses, and discipline courses.
The training courses are designed to prepare informed police leaders equipped with skills in strategic planning, sound decision-making, and crisis management based on modern scientific foundations. They also aim to graduate a cohort of participants from the trainers' preparation course, which was designed to qualify them to serve as an effective nucleus for knowledge transfer using the latest training methods and tools, thereby ensuring the quality of training outcomes and the sustainability of professional impact.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Al Hassan honoured the participants in recognition of their efforts and the commitment and excellence they demonstrated during their participation in the training courses.
