Manama: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated the Celebrate Bahrain festival at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayyan, marking the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Days. Organized by the Ministry of Information, the festival commemorates Bahrain's founding in 1783 and the anniversary of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession to the throne. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness was welcomed by the Minister of Information, HE Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, along with senior officials. Shaikh Mohammed emphasized that the National Day celebrations highlight the values of citizenship and national identity, as well as Bahrain's achievements under the leadership of His Majesty the King, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Shaikh Mohammed extended congratulations to the King and the Crown Prince, expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity for Bahrain. He noted that the festival showcases Bah raini folklore and heritage, celebrating the country's cultural legacy. His Highness also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Information for organizing the event and extended best wishes for their continued success. During the festival, His Highness witnessed performances by the National Guard and the Alkray Team, which showcased Bahrain's heritage. He toured the festival to observe activities presented by various ministries, government agencies, and the private sector, highlighting Bahrain's historical and cultural heritage. HE Dr. Al Noaimi expressed gratitude to Shaikh Mohammed for inaugurating the festival and reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to hosting it annually in line with Bahrain's national holiday celebrations. The festival embodies Bahrain's identity, history, and culture while showcasing national achievements over the past 25 years under King Hamad's leadership, with support from the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
