Manama: This week's BD 70 million issuance of Government Treasury Bills by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has seen an oversubscription rate of 169%. These Treasury Bills, which have a maturity period of 91 days, are issued on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The bills are set to be issued on September 23 and will mature on December 23.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average interest rate for this issue is 5.50%, an increase from the previous issue's rate of 5.36% on September 16. The average price for this issue was approximately 98.629%, with the lowest accepted price recorded at 98.617%.
This issuance is marked as issue No.2140, with ISIN BH0007995572, and contributes to the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills reaching BD 2.110 billion.
