Manama: This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 141%. The bills, which have a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issuance date for these bills is November 20, with a maturity date set for February 19, 2025. According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average rate of interest for this issue stands at 5.76%, a slight decrease from the 5.88% rate in the previous issue dated November 6. The approximate average price for the current issue was 98.564%, while the lowest accepted price was recorded at 98.528%. This issuance is identified as issue No. 2043 with the ISIN BH000219H324 for Government Treasury Bills. With the completion of this issue, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills in circulation is BD 2.110 billion.
