CBB Treasury Bills Oversubscribed by 100% in Latest Issue

Manama: This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 100.214%. The bills, which have a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue date of the bills is May 6, 2026, and they are set to mature on August 5. According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average rate of interest for the latest issue stands at 5.32%, showing an increase from the 5.18% rate of the previous issue on April 29. The approximate average price for this issue was recorded at 98.674%, with the lowest accepted price being 98.628%. This latest issuance is marked as issue No.2120, with the International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) BH00052041I4, of the Government Treasury Bills. With the conclusion of this issue, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills has reached BD 2.110 billion.
