Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that its latest monthly issue of the six-month short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk has been oversubscribed by 255%. According to Bahrain News Agency, the total subscriptions received amounted to BD 127.291 million for the BD 50 million issue. This particular issue carries a maturity of 182 days. The expected return on the issue, which commenced on July 2 and is set to mature on December 31, stands at 5.37%, mirroring the return from the previous issue on June 4. The Ijara Murabaha Sukuk are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This specific issuance is identified as issue 6IM/11 (BH00052632Q3) within the series of short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk.
