Manama:Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), welcomed Faisal Aljalahma, CEO for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Board Member of Tanami, along with Dr. Nawaf Almaskati, CEO for Saudi Arabia, Head of Asset Management, and Board Member of Tanami. The meeting followed the company's recognition as the Best FinTech Company at the Money20/20 Middle East event in Riyadh, where it competed against more than 350 fintech firms.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the CBB Governor congratulated Tanami on its award, emphasizing that it highlights the strength of Bahrain's fintech ecosystem and the success of fintech companies based in Bahrain within regional markets.
Governor Humaidan praised Tanami's progress from joining the CBB's Regulatory Sandbox to obtaining its license in Bahrain and eventually expanding beyond the Kingdom. This journey underscores Bahrain's capacity to offer fintech companies a platform for developing and scaling innovative financial solutions.
The discussion also covered Tanami's growth strategies and the opportunities presented by the ongoing expansion of digital financial services across the region.
