CBB Engages in Bahrain National Sports Day Activities


Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) participated in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Sports Day by organising a range of sports and health activities at its premises. Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the CBB, commended the Cabinet’s decision to designate 12 February 2026 as a half-working day for all ministries and government entities, thereby providing staff with the opportunity to participate in the Bahrain Sports Day activities.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Humaidan emphasised that this initiative reinforces the role of sports as a social culture and affirmed that the decision reflects the government’s commitment to promoting sports and physical well-being. He noted that it embodies the government’s support for national initiatives aimed at fostering values of physical activity and vitality within society.



The event featured a range of sports activities aimed at raising awareness of physical health and encouraging employees to adopt a comprehensive and healthy lifestyle.
